Returning to the original Fairy Boy design (handmade action figures), Dunsworth sketched a tree fort—structures he frequently built during his childhood in the cult, crafting small realms for fairies. Alongside friends, he would construct similar forts, forming imaginative factions and miniature worlds. Seeking to expand this universe into the digital realm, the next logical step became virtual reality. Collaborating with artist Myles Scott, Dunsworth initiated the project by building a physical tree fort in his yard using branches collected after Hurricane Milton. The structure stood for several days before it was removed at the school's request. A point cloud scan was captured using AI, serving as the foundation for developing the VR experience. Together, they expanded the space with mixed media contributions. The Fairy Boys were modeled in 3D, and Dunsworth composed atmospheric music to accompany the experience, merging the physical and digital into a single immersive, fantastical world. They are currently working to gamefy the experience and bring it to PC.
